East Coast Road, the express highway that connects Chennai to Pondicherry and runs along the Bay of Bengal Coastline, has beautiful sights to offer. The road which boasts of a number of attractions for the tourists will now have the best management students flocking to it.
Great Lakes Institute of Management will soon have a new address. Construction is on in full swing at the site of new campus. The Institute will move into the new 13.11 acre campus which is located 55 kms from Chennai, on the scenic East Coast Road (ECR). The Wi-fi enabled building will have three wings, namely residential, recreational and academic and is using the Green Architecture techniques of construction. A Green building ensures that harmful impact of the construction on environment and human health is minimum. Such a construction reduces energy usage, waste material and operation/maintenance costs. The sprawling new campus would be platinum rated – the highest possible rating for any Green building.
